Abdülkadir Özkan
Chairman of the Board / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Born in Istanbul, Abdülkadir Özkan graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Communication, in 2004. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted academic research in the field of communication sciences, particularly focusing on the works of Canadian communication theorist Marshall McLuhan. He has authored books and numerous publications on communication policies and media-politics relations. Following his academic education, he built his professional career around public administration, strategic communication and international relations.
Between 2004 and 2009, he held various overseas assignments, gaining experience in international representation, diplomacy and corporate communication. From 2011 to 2019, he served in senior public positions in Ankara, including his role as Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister, where he played an active role in strategic coordination, public diplomacy and high-level decision-making processes.
During the same period, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the UNESCO National Commission of Turkiye, contributing to cultural diplomacy, multilateral cooperation and Turkiye's representation on international platforms.
Following his transition from public service to the private sector, he established a multi-sector investment structure. Dolmabahce Holding, founded under his leadership, operates across sectors including defense industry, foreign trade, construction and real estate, precious metals and retail.
Within the defense sector, he has been actively involved in projects related to security and defense technologies, military equipment procurement, strategic partnerships and regional defense initiatives. He continues to develop public-private sector integration models, international defense supply chain structures and technology-focused investment strategies.
Actively engaged in the international business environment, Ozkan also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Indonesia Business Council, contributing to the development of regional trade networks and strategic investment partnerships.
He has advanced proficiency in English.
